How To Find This Month's Giveaway Tree
We publish a monthly clue on our social media sites. Visit McPherson Park in Colleyville. Go to the Group Pavilion (aka "upper pavilion"). Look for the newer tree grove to the east, downhill. Based on the clue, find the tree and take a photo of a "similar" tree and guess the tree variety. Enter the contest with the form above!

Matching mature canopy spread, height, and root habit to sunlight, soil drainage, overhead utilities, and proximity to home structures.
Proper Planting Depth & Root Flare
Planting too deep suffocates roots. The root flare (where trunk widens at soil level) MUST remain visible above grade for healthy oxygen intake.
Establishment Watering & Aftercare
